The pendant Aline elegantly reclaims the classic cone shape with a clean and modern design. With its minimalistic profile and smooth matte surface, the translucent shade expresses a natural balance between softness and strictness. Aline effortlessly produces a timeless impression that is well worth repeating in any room and in any setting. It is simply sophisticated and thoughtful – designed to fit anywhere and anytime. The light is evenly dispersed, creating a soft atmospheric illumination to any room. A powder-coated disc completes the shade, adding colour and an intriguing interaction between the materials.

The Aline collection is the result of a close collaboration between Pholc and the Stockholm-based design studio Afteroom. Founded and directed by Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, Afteroom’s mission is to create beautiful products that will add value over time – design to grow old with. The duo draws inspiration from the exploration of forms, senses, proportions, materials, and cultures. Always focusing on simplicity and in finding the natural balance between functionality and aesthetics. Aline is no exception.
